I told them I wasn’t going to take it and they told HR I quit. They offered me a Public Saftety assistant position which pays half of what I was making and if I didn’t take it I was fired. I was hired as an officer and they hired me without a post certificate and after I had worked there two months they called me into the office to let me know I needed more training and wasn’t qualified for the job. When I brought it to their attention they told me tough I had to wait another two weeks to get my check which was taxed more than it normally would have had they done it right the first time. My first Paycheck was cut in half because payroll didn’t account for all the hours I had worked my first two weeks. From the start of my employment in this place I was shown the “employees don’t matter” attitude.
